Description of the job
An Automotive Receptionist, or car dealership receptionist, is responsible for providing customer service and administrative support in an automotive office environment including Sales Managers, Auto Technicians and . They greet customers, answer phones, and schedule appointments. They may also be responsible for collecting payments and managing paperwork. Responsibilities
- Customer service : Greet customers, answer questions, and address complaints.
- Phone calls : Answer and screen phone calls in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, and forward calls to the appropriate person.
- Appointments : Schedule appointments for customers.
- Payments : Collect payments, calculate amounts due, and document payments.
- Paperwork : Manage paperwork, including forms and insurance documents.
- Mail : Sort and deliver mail.
- Reception area : Keep the reception area clean and organized.
- General Automotive knowledge is necessary.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Prior experience as an Automotive Receptionist required.
